By booking a consultation or using this website, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Balboa provides live, one-on-one video consultations focused on Pendo implementation, adoption, and product analytics. Sessions are booked in fixed lengths at the prices shown on our pricing section. Prices are in USD and include no hidden fees.

2. Scope of guidance

Our consultations provide Pendo implementation and product-analytics guidance based on our experience. Recommendations are tailored to the information you share; outcomes depend on your product, data, and team, and no specific business result is guaranteed.

3. Booking & payment

• All bookings are paid in advance through the secure payment form on this site, processed by Stripe. You never leave this website to pay.
• Your booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds. You'll receive a confirmation, invoice, and receipt by email.
• We accept major credit/debit cards (as enabled by Stripe).
• We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data.

4. Scheduling

• After payment, we contact you within 1 business day to schedule your session.
• Sessions are held by video or phone call, at a mutually agreed time.
• Please join on time — sessions end at the scheduled time and can't be extended into the next booking.
• Free rescheduling is available with at least 12 hours' notice.

5. What consultations cover — and don't

• Covered: Pendo implementation and configuration, tagging and guide reviews, adoption and analytics analysis, dashboard and report setup, and product-operations planning.
• Not covered: we do not provide software development outside Pendo configuration, legal advice, or support for third-party tools beyond how they connect with Pendo.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your questions and goals.
• Only share materials you have the right to share.
• Do not record sessions without our written permission.

7. Confidentiality

We treat everything you share in a consultation — including product data and analytics — as confidential and won't disclose it to third parties except as required by law.

8. Cancellations & refunds

See our Refund Policy — 100% refund with 12+ hours' notice, 50% for late cancellations/no-shows, and remedies for service failures.

9. Limitation of liability

Our consultations are professional guidance, not a substitute for your own judgment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any session is limited to the amount you paid for that session. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Fair use

One booking covers one client discussion. Abusive behavior, harassment, or attempts to defraud will result in cancellation without refund and a ban from future bookings.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
